Two men died after an iron ceiling grill fell on them at Greater Noida’s Galaxy Blue Sapphire Mall on Sunday. The victims died on the spot after being struck by the falling ceiling grill which fell from the fifth floor, reported the news agency, ANI adding that the incident took place when they were moving towards the escalator.
Soon, the police reached the spot and initiated an investigation. Following the mishap, bystanders rushed to help the victims and dragged them away from the scene of the incident.

The police also took the bodies for postmortem.
In another unrelated incident happened last month, an accelerating white Audi car lost control and slammed into a public restroom on the street in a dramatic accident that was reported in Noida Sector 37, Uttar Pradesh.
Five people suffered serious injuries in the incident, but there were no confirmed deaths. They are currently recovering in the hospital. The accident caused damage to the toilet structure as well as the car.
