A team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted raids at the residences of jailed Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Irfan Solanki in Kanpur. The ED team, which arrived from Lucknow also raided his brother, Arshad’s residence.
Raids are underway at multiple locations in Kanpur.

According to reports, the raids were conducted based on multiple FIRs of land grabbing, Gangster Act, fake Aadhaar card cases, etc.
Irfan Solanki has been lodged in jail for the past year over accusations by a woman of attempting to encroach upon a plot. A total of 17 cases have been filed against Solanki so far.
