Yoga, considered one of the oldest health practices in the world, has won the world over with its effectiveness and inclusiveness. As per ancient scriptures, there are various forms of yoga practices. Some of them do not necessarily mean asanas or body stances. Some even consist of the application of external herbs, rosewater and mud. Mud therapy has always been a lesser-known aspect of yoga. Yogic culture considers mud to be the healer of many ailments. There have been many precedents in Ayurveda where mud has been used to treat many skin and other body conditions.

He has been training many people under his tutelage. He also provides treatment to patients suffering from chronic diseases with his experience of giving free training in more than 20 centres.

Prabhakar’s Yoga Center conducts mud bath events four times a year. His followers dip themselves into a pool full of medicated and purified mud paste. According to him, a 45-minute mud bath cools the body by diluting and absorbing the toxins from the body, apart from also curing skin diseases. Prabhakar says that proper application of mud on the body can even cure infertility. As per Prabkahar, applying mud on the navel or belly button for 45 minutes for 45 days can lead to an increase in sperm count.
