The Budget Session of the Delhi Assembly commenced on 15 February and has been extended till 8 March
Delhi Finance Minister Atishi said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had resolved to establish ‘Ram Rajya’ in the national capital while delivering her budget speech at the assembly on Monday.
“All of us sitting here are inspired by Lord Ram and we have resolved to establish a ‘Ram Rajya’ in Delhi, said Atishi as she began presenting Delhi’s budget for the financial year 2024-25.
The Budget Session of the Delhi Assembly commenced on 15 February and has been extended till 8 March. It was supposed to end on February 21. This is likely to be the longest assembly session under the AAP government’s regime.
The Delhi government’s budget focused on education, health, power, and roads among other sectors.
“When Arvind Kejriwal became the chief minister, he made ‘Sikshya’ the ‘Raj Dharm’,” she said.
